Medical Committee
The Medical Committee is responsible for analyzing the requirements of a Medical Review Officer and any periodic followups that may be required, if any. It shall evaluate, and recommend hospitals, laboratories, and clinics to participate in the DFYIT program. The Committee shall also be responsible for insuring the confidentiality of medical records, publishing of the participating hospitals and clinics, and evaluating referral agencies and recommend appropriate agencies for counseling services.
PURPOSE: To develop procedures and recommendations for the Medical Review Officer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Analyze the requirements of a Medical Review Officer
B. Develop written committee policies and procedures
C. Develop budget
D. Coordinate with the Administration Committee the duties of the Medical Review Officer
E. Evaluate referral agencies and recommend appropriate agencies for counseling services
